Sandy Catour served as the Chief Financial Officer of Audacious Studios, an acclaimed and innovative marketing agency collection of companies consisting of August United, Tailwind, Cast & Hue, and Interabang headquartered in Tempe, AZ. With a robust career spanning over two decades, Sandy has played a pivotal role in steering the financial strategies and operational excellence of the company.
In her capacity as CFO, Mrs. Catour oversaw the day-to-day operational activities of Audacious Studios, meticulously managing expenses, controlling margins, and ensuring the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial objectives.
Beyond financial stewardship, Sandy also led the Human Resources and Operations teams, leveraging her expertise to optimize internal processes and mitigate legal and commercial risks associated with business transactions.
Sandy’s journey with Audacious Studios began in 2003 when she joined the company, then known as Sitewire, as the Controller. In this role, she spearheaded various operational, process, and workflow initiatives while managing all financial affairs of the agency. Her tenure before Audacious Studios includes notable positions in finance and accounting within midsize and Fortune 500 corporations such as Salt River Project (SRP), MicroAge, and service in the United States Air Force.
With a profound understanding of budgeting, account maintenance, and database systems, Sandy’s expertise is underscored by her adeptness in designing, testing, and implementing customer maintenance and agency-specific accounting software. Moreover, Sandy possesses a comprehensive proficiency in accounting and project management software, including Workamajig, Advantage, Clients & Profits, and NetSuite. Her experience also extends to navigating the intricacies of marketing agency mergers and acquisitions, further enhancing her strategic capabilities.
